The contents of this primer are based on the course Race, Muslims and US Empire (AMCULT 310). The class focused on the the ways race and state power shape what it means to be a Muslim in the United States, past and present. This primer was a class project that required a team effort; each student had a designated job that included either being a writer, editor, designer, or promotion.
